Calpol Six Plus Sugar Free Colour Free Suspension (200ml Bottle): is used for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and as an antipyretic (bring temperature down).  It is a strawberry flavour sugar free suspension which contains paracetamol.

This medicine is suitable for children over 6 years old. It also suits adults who find paracetamol tablets and capsules difficult to swallow.

Directions:

How to take Calpol Six Plus Sugar Free Suspension Liquid:

• Children 6-8 Years of age: Give 5ml upto FOUR times DAILY
• Children 8-10 Years of age: Give 7.5ml (5ml 2.5ml) upto FOUR times DAILY
• Children 10-12 Years of age: Give 10ml (5ml 5ml) upto FOUR times DAILY
• Children 12-16 Years of age: Give 10-15ml (TWO to THREE 5ml doses) upto FOUR times DAILY
• Adults and Children 16 years plus: Take 10-20ml (TWO to FOUR 5ml doses) upto FOUR times DAILY

Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

Caution when using Calpol Six Plus Sugar Free Suspension Liquid:

Always read the leaflet.

Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Do not take if you are already taking with something else that contains paracetamol.

Follow the dosage instructions.

Speak to a doctor if your child gets a rash, breathing problems, diarrhoea or gets very tired.

You should carefully read all product packaging and labels prior to use.

Ingredients:

The active ingredient is Paracetamol 250mg per 5ml.

Maltitol, sorbitol liquid (E420), glycerol, dispersible cellulose, xanthum gum, polysorbate 80, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216). Acesulfame potassium, saccharin sodium and purified water, The flavouring is imitation strawberry. 

Side Effects:

Tell your doctor as soon as is possible if you notice any of the following:

Skin rashes or other sorts of allergy.

Very rarely people taking paracetamol can feel unusually tired, get unexpected bruising or bleeding and get more infections (such as colds) than usual.
