Description
Cromar Universal Woodworm & Dry Rot Killer
Cromar Universal Woodworm & Dry Rot Killer Woodworm Treatment penetrates easily into wood and thereby gets deep into inner layers.
It is moisture regulating and provides an adhesive surface for subsequent finishing paints (top coats). After drying, the product is odourless.
Cromar Universal Woodworm & Dry Rot Killer Woodworm Treatment is a wood preservative used for pre-treatment of non-resistant wood in outdoor use.
For use on all outside wood, that is not in direct contact to soil or water surface and not stressed statically. This includes facades, carports, shutters and balcony railings.
The product should NOT be used indoors.
Active Ingredients:
Permethrin
Permethrin 0.06% w/w: A commonly used pyrethroid insecticide which has excellent efficacy against a wide range of wood boring insects.
Propiconazole
Propiconazole 0.6% w/w: A Triazole Fungicide which has excellent efficacy against a range of wood destroying fungi.
IPBC (3-Iodo-2-Propynyl Butyl Carbamate)
IPBC (3-Iodo-2-Propynyl Butyl Carbamate) 0.3% w/w: A Carbamate Fungicide which is added to improve the efficacy envelope even further providing excellent efficacy against a range of wood staining fungi.

Preparation:
The wood surface must be clean and dry before treatment. All existing coatings must be completely removed.
If necessary, all grey and deteriorated wood should be sanded down to a clean sound surface.
The wood must be frost-free when treated.
Application Method:
Cromar Universal Woodworm & Dry Rot Killer is a ready to use product and should not be diluted.
Shake the container vigorously to ensure contents are thoroughly mixed.
The product should be applied evenly in order to get the best results.
Re-seal the container after use.
Coverage:
This is greatly dependent on the type of timber being coated but as a rough guide, coverage will be 160ml/m².
